MR image quality
We can perform testing of MR image quality, in terms of device influence to the MR system according to IEC 62464-1: Magnetic resonance equipment for medical imaging – Part 1: Determination of essential image quality parameters. The following values can be measured and evaluated:
- Signal-to-Noise-Ratio (SNR)
- B0-Homogeneity
- Eddy current detection
- Geometric distortion
- RF noise signal detection
- Interference to the RF signal properties
- Interference by proton signals of plastics
MR:comp has developed a special image quality phantom, with which these parameters can be evaluated.
